I walked into their room and was immediately welcomed with a calm presence. Both, mom and dad, were relaxed and smiling. Their sweet baby girl was quietly wrapped up and asleep in her bassinet. It was like they had been waiting for this their entire lives and it all felt so easy and so right. Let’s not talk about the stress and anxiety and not-put-together presence I had with my first baby…

I really really loved capturing this sweet family’s new baby. The first 48 hours are so fast, I’m so lucky to be able to stop time just for a bit and photograph these memories that new parents are far too tired to remember. :)
