There really isn’t a more exciting AND terrifying time than bringing your first baby home. There is so much unknown, which is so scary, but what is also unknown is how much your heart can expand and grow for this tiny little human that is half you and half the love of your life. She relies on you for survival and it’s your job to protect, love and nurture her into the strong, confident woman you know she’ll become. Being a parent is the most difficult, exhausting and greatest gift you can be given as a human being. I was so honored to watch these two easily settle into parenthood. Welcome home little Libby. You are so very loved.
